Actor/Director Jonathan Frakes present the Ultimate Online Audition Contest

winning actor Michael Town

Jonathan Frakes awarded Beckinfield Actor Michael Town the $10,000 Grand Prize when he won our contest.

Theatrics, creator of the first-ever Mass Participation TV series “Beckinfield,” invited actors to take part in a nation-wide acting contest in late 2011. They showed off their skills to celebrity judge Jonathan Frakes ("Star Trek: TNG," "Burn Notice") as they competed to win $10,000 and a trip for two to Hollywood.

The Story So Far

The Beckinfield Little Theater (AKA “The BLT”) had been boarded up for more than 40 years but was about to reopen in grand style with The Legends of Beckinfield, an original play chronicling the mysterious origins of the town. The BLT reached out to renowned director Dylan Marks (played by Jonathan Frakes) to travel to Beckinfield to direct the production. Residents of Beckinfield (played by actors all over the world) submitted audition videos online to try and land a part.
